Real Fitment. Real Filtration.

GX200 / Clone Oil Pump & Filter Kit

Why this kit matters

Oil pressure and spin-on filtration in a tight mini bike package.

This side cover gives GX200 / Clone-style engines a cleaner, more controlled oiling setup than basic splash-only lubrication. Pressurized oiling helps move oil where the engine needs it, while the spin-on filter catches fine debris before it keeps circulating through the crankcase.

  • Cleaner oilFilter media traps fine material that would otherwise stay in circulation.
  • Better protectionHelps support rod, bearing, and rotating assembly life.
  • Serviceable setupSpin-on filter placement makes maintenance easier.

Flip the Relay

When using electric start, the relay on the starter motor needs to be flipped so it clears the oil filter. This keeps the filter usable without fighting the starter hardware.

Fitment note: check filter, frame, starter, and wiring clearance during mockup before final assembly.

Cut-open filter media

What filtration catches

The cut-open filter media shows why filtration matters. Fine debris and break-in material can collect in the filter instead of continuing through the oiling system.

Builder checklist

Before final install

  • Verify side cover gasket alignment and sealing surfaces.
  • Confirm the filter clears the frame, starter, and wiring.
  • Flip the starter relay when needed for filter clearance.
  • Prime and inspect the oiling system before hard running.
  • Recheck for leaks after the first heat cycle.
Bottom line: This kit is built for customers who want real oil control, easier service, and added protection in a compact mini bike engine setup.

Designed, tested, produced

From prototype to finished part.

At Down Low Minis, our parts begin with real fitment problems we want to solve for mini bike builders. From prototype testing to finished production, each part is refined with a clear purpose before it reaches your build.

Step 01

Prototype Printing

Before production, we print and test prototypes so we can check alignment, mounting, hardware access, and real-world installation. This stage lets us improve the design before metal is cut.

Production Parts

Once the design proves itself, it moves into production. The finished parts we sell are the result of our own development process, built for riders who care about performance and detail.
